This afternoon, Company 5 was alerted for a single vehicle MVC off the roadway, on it's side. Squad 5 and Unit 52 went en route. Once on scene, the crew of 9 assisted EMS with the patient, as well as traffic control and scene clean up. KVFD cleared the scene after about 45 minutes.

This morning about quarter past 10, KVFD, along with KAMP and Terra Alta Ambulances were alerted for a two vehicle collision with two to three patients. Squad 5 and Unit 52 responded with a crew of 7. EMS informed Company 5 that there was extrication needed for two patients.

This afternoon at about 1pm, KVFD was dispatched for a fire in town, with Company 1 dispatched through automatic mutual aid, at one of the mobile home lots on Morgan St. With 11 personnel responding, Engines 55 and 56, as well as Squad 5 went en route.

This evening at about 5:15pm, Tower 5 was requested by Chief 6 to assist with a residential structure fire on Rohr Road. Tower 5 went en route with a full crew, as well as Units 51 and 54 with additional manpower, totaling 10 personnel.

Early this morning, Squad 5 and Unit 52 responded to an MVC with a crew of 7, near Brown’s Park for a single vehicle MVC. With no injuries but the vehicle in the roadway, traffic control was provided along with scene clean up.

Company 5 was notified for a two vehicle MVC this afternoon, with injuries, at 1:18pm. Squad 5 and Unit 52 went en route. Once on scene, WVSP and Terra Alta EMS were already on scene, finding two vehicles off of the roadway, but with debris in the roadway.

KVFD was paged out for a vehicle fire this night, around 10:30pm. Engine's 56 and 55 went en route with eight. Once on scene, a vehicle was found in the driveway of a residence, with the front-end of the vehicle on fire.

At 5:19 this morning, Company 5 was paged via automatic mutual aid to assist Company 1 Albright with a structure fire. Engine's 55 and 56 responded. Once on scene, Company 1 and Company 3 were already on scene with a fully engulfed structure.

Around 3:30pm today, KVFD was dispatched via automatic mutual aid for a structure fire in Terra Alta. 11 firefighters marked up, Engine 55 and Unit 54 went en route. Upon arrival, the fire was under control and KVFD crews assisted with overhaul and salvage operations.

Around noon today, Company 5 was requested to assist Company 3 with a fire at the Mulch Plant that had started a little before 11am, with mulch piles on fire. Unit 54 responded with the Rehab equipment for the scene.

This morning around 8:45, KVFD was dispatched via automatic mutual aid to assist Company 9 with an MVC. Squad 5 went en route with a crew of 3. Once on scene, KAMP EMS, Reedsville PD, and Company 9 were on scene with an MVC over an embankment, with two patients inside.
