This morning around 8:45, KVFD was dispatched via automatic mutual aid to assist Company 9 with an MVC. Squad 5 went en route with a crew of 3. Once on scene, KAMP EMS, Reedsville PD, and Company 9 were on scene with an MVC over an embankment, with two patients inside. KVFD immediately deployed their winch to add stabilization to the vehicle, and then ResQ Jacks on the lower side of the vehicle for further stabilization, to remove the patients from the vehicle. KVFD and RVFD assisted EMS with removal and packaging the patients once the vehicle was stabilized. After removal, Squad 5 was released by Company 9 after about 45 minutes on scene.

Kingwood was alerted for a structure fire along South Preston Hwy. Engine 56, Unit 54 and 51 responded with a crew of 5. On scene firefighters worked to extinguish a partially demolished mobile home, that was fully involved.

Kingwood was requested to assist Company 6 Masontown on a combined brush fire with 2 outbuildings on fire. Engine 55’s crew was tasked with extinguishing the 2nd outbuilding. Company 9 Reedsville and KAMP Ambulance were also on scene.

Engine 56 responded with 6 personnel to a reported fully involved vehicle fire. Engine 56 went on scene confirming a fully involved vehicle and had the fire under control in minutes. No injuries were reported.

Kingwood VFD was paged for a smoke investigation, after receiving further information a second page was requested, upgrading to smoke in a structure. Engine 56, Engine 55, Units 54 and 51 responded. Arriving units on scene had visible smoke coming from the home.

Engine 56, Unit 52, 54 and 51 responded to a structure fire on Wiley Ln. Crew arrived to find heavy smoke conditions. KVFD quickly went to work making an interior attack. Eventually interior operations had to be abandoned and went to exterior operations.
