Just before midnight, Company 5 was alerted for a possible structure fire at 136 Olympic Drive. Tower 5, Engine 57, Engine 55 and Unit 54 responded. While en route, the call was upgraded to a confirmed structure fire.

Company 5 was paged out for an MVC on Herring Road at 3:35PM today. Squad 5 and Unit 52 went en route with 7 personnel. Upon arrival, two vehicles were found in the roadway with front end damage. One occupant was injured and was attended by a firefighter/EMT until EMS arrived.

Around 1:30PM, Kingwood VFD was paged for a brush fire on Briery Mountain at one of the Camp Dawson ranges. Engine 57, Unit 52 and Unit 54 responded with 6 personnel. Chief 5 took command of the scene and requested assistance from Company 1.

At 2:18PM, Company 5 was dispatched for a tractor trailer over the embankment near the bottom of Caddell Mountain, with the vehicle on fire and one person still inside the truck. Engine 57, Engine 55, Squad 5 and Unit 54 went en route with 10 personnel.

While Company 5 members were at their weekly drill night, Company 5 was requested to assist Company 3 with a structure fire. Tower 5 and Engine 55 responded with a crew of 11. Crews assisted with overhaul operations of the fire, and were on scene for about two and a half hours.

At about 1:10PM, Company 5 was requested for their tanker and manpower to assist Company 3 with a structure fire. Engine 55 responded, and upon arrival found that the majority of the structure had collapsed, with flames still active.

At 2:12PM, KVFD was requested to assist Company 6 Masontown and Company 9 Reedsville with a brush fire on Vista View Rd. Engine 57 and Unit 52 arrived with 7 personnel, and crews assisted with putting out hotspots and creating firelines around the burnt area.

At 2:11 this afternoon, Conpany 5 was paged for a car fire at the Circle K. Engine 57 and Unit 54 responded with 5. Engine 57’s crew quickly knocked down the flames from the engine compartment, clearing the scene after about 20 minutes.

0516am Company 5 was paged out for a fire on Sandy Bottom Rd. Engine 57 and Engine 55 went en route with 7 personnel. A 53’ box trailer was fully engulfed upon arrival. Crews made a quick attack, and cleared scene after about an hour and a half.
