At 12:28AM, KVFD was requested to assist Company 6 with a structure fire on Cales Road. Company 6 requested Engine 55 along with manpower. Engine 55 went en route with 5 personnel. Once on scene, Engine 55’s crew assisted with interior attacks and overhaul, along with water shuttling.

At 12:40PM today, Company 5 was paged for a two vehicle accident at the Caddell bridge. Squad 5 and Unit 54 went en route with 6. Once on scene, the roadway was found to be mostly blocked. Company 5 assisted with scene clean up and traffic control.

At 3:26PM today, KVFD was alerted for a 2 vehicle MVC at the South Preston Highway and Shower Bath Road intersection. Unit 52 responded. With four personnel on scene, scene clean up and traffic control was provided, as well as assisting KAMP Ambulance with the patient.

11:58PM KVFD was toned out via automatic mutual aid to assist Company 9 with a structure fire on Arthur Road. Engine 56, Engine 55 and Unit 54 went en route with a crew of 6. Upon arrival, Company 6 and Company 9 were on scene with a fully involved structure fire.

At 9:14PM KVFD was paged out for an MVC with entrapment on North Preston Highway, just on the Kingwood side of the Albright bridge. Squad 5, Unit 52 and Unit 54 went en route, as well as Company 1 via automatic mutual aid dispatch.

At 7:05PM, Company 5 was dispatched for a vehicle fire on Route 7 East, at the runaway truck ramp. Engine 56 went en route with a crew of five and upon arrival, found a fully involved vehicle fire. Crews quickly put out the fire, and the fire was listed under control at 7:21pm by Chief 5.

Kingwood VFD was alerted to assist Co 1 Albright with a vehicle fire on Fly Ash Road. Unit 52 and Engine 55 went en route with 8 personnel. Upon arrival, a lawn tractor was found to be on fire which had also caused a small grass fire around it.

At 2:18PM, Company 5 was dispatched for a tractor trailer over the embankment near the bottom of Caddell Mountain, with the vehicle on fire and one person still inside the truck. Engine 57, Engine 55, Squad 5 and Unit 54 went en route with 10 personnel.

While Company 5 members were at their weekly drill night, Company 5 was requested to assist Company 3 with a structure fire. Tower 5 and Engine 55 responded with a crew of 11. Crews assisted with overhaul operations of the fire, and were on scene for about two and a half hours.

At about 1:10PM, Company 5 was requested for their tanker and manpower to assist Company 3 with a structure fire. Engine 55 responded, and upon arrival found that the majority of the structure had collapsed, with flames still active.
